Evento+ was founded inside a transformation group, not a creative agency. That is the most useful thing to know about us.
Fourteen years of standing in other people's rooms.
Taaeen Group was founded in Abu Dhabi in 2012. Since then it has worked alongside more than 150 government and enterprise clients across the United Arab Emirates and the wider Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) — on strategy, transformation, human capital, learning, technology and financial services.
Along the way, the group kept ending up in the same situation. A client would finish a two-year transformation programme and need to announce it properly. A ministry would complete an excellence journey and need a recognition evening worthy of it. A cohort would graduate and need a ceremony that meant something. And each time, the occasion — the part everyone would actually remember — was handed to whichever supplier could be appointed fastest.
The results were rarely bad. They were consistently forgettable. A well-lit room with a rented stage and a photographer who had not been told what the evening was for.
Evento+ exists because that gap was too visible to leave alone. If a group can hold accountability for the change itself, it can hold accountability for the moment the change is announced.
The name
Evento+ and the plus.
Every company in Taaeen Group carries the same plus. It is not decoration. It marks the specialism — impact+, skills+, AI+, tfs+, setup+, evento+ — and it marks the fact that each one is carried by a group rather than standing alone.
The master name itself comes from the Arabic تعيين, the verbal noun of عيّن, from the root ع ي ن. Among its meanings is precise determination and demarcation — establishing exactly what something is. For an events company, that turns out to be the whole discipline: deciding precisely what an occasion is for, and then holding every decision to it.
